The 10D9N Northern Pakistan – Mountains, Valleys & Heritage Tour takes you through some of Pakistan’s most spectacular mountain regions, historic settlements and culturally rich communities.
For centuries, the valleys of northern Pakistan formed important connections between South Asia, Central Asia and China. Traders, scholars and travellers crossed these mountain routes, bringing together different languages, traditions and cultures. Today, the region is known for its strong Islamic identity, warm hospitality and breathtaking natural beauty.
Our journey begins in Islamabad, Pakistan’s modern capital and home to the magnificent Faisal Mosque.
From there, take a scenic domestic flight to Skardu, the gateway to the dramatic landscapes of Gilgit-Baltistan.
Explore the historic Shigar Valley, where traditional villages, Shigar Fort and the extraordinary Cold Desert are surrounded by towering mountains.
Continue to Khaplu, a peaceful valley known for its royal palace, distinctive Balti architecture and centuries-old Islamic heritage.
The journey then travels through spectacular mountain and river scenery towards Hunza Valley, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated destinations.
Discover the ancient Baltit and Altit forts before continuing along the legendary Karakoram Highway to the turquoise waters of Attabad Lake, the Hussaini suspension bridge and the majestic Passu Cones.
Finally, return through Gilgit to Islamabad before travelling home with unforgettable memories of northern Pakistan.
