Tour Overview

The 8D Kyushu Nature & Wellness journey has been designed for Muslim travellers who wish to experience Japan’s natural beauty at a comfortable and enjoyable pace.

The journey begins in Fukuoka, Kyushu’s largest city and an excellent introduction to the region. Discover its waterfront scenery, spacious parks and shopping districts before visiting Fukuoka Masjid for prayer.

Continue towards Yanagawa, a historical canal town where a traditional boat cruise offers a peaceful view of old neighbourhoods and seasonal scenery.

Travel onwards to Kumamoto, a city celebrated for its castle and samurai heritage. From Kumamoto, enter the volcanic heart of Kyushu at Mount Aso, where open grasslands, mountain viewpoints and an enormous caldera create some of Japan’s most remarkable natural scenery.

Spend a restful evening near Kurokawa Onsen, an atmospheric hot-spring town surrounded by forests and rivers. Private bathing arrangements may be requested for travellers who prefer greater privacy.

The journey continues to Takachiho Gorge, known for its steep basalt cliffs, clear river and beautiful waterfall, before reaching Beppu, one of Japan’s most famous geothermal destinations.

After exploring Beppu’s colourful hot-spring “hells” and wellness culture, visit Yufuin for Lake Kinrin, views of Mount Yufu and a relaxing walk through its charming streets.

The tour then returns to Fukuoka for shopping and the flight home to Singapore.
