Tour Overview
The 7D Uzbekistan: Islamic Heritage & Silk Road Treasures tour takes you through three of Uzbekistan’s most important cities: Tashkent, Bukhara and Samarkand.
For centuries, Uzbekistan stood at the centre of the Great Silk Road. Merchants, scholars and travellers passed through its cities, creating important centres of Islamic learning, science, architecture and culture.
Begin in Tashkent, where historic Islamic monuments stand alongside modern mosques and lively bazaars. Visit the Hazrati Imam Complex and discover the spiritual legacy of Imam Kaffal Shashi.
Continue to Bukhara, a city with more than 2,000 years of history. Explore its beautifully preserved old centre, magnificent minarets, madrasas and sacred memorials. Visit the Bahauddin Naqshband Complex and discover why Bukhara became one of the Muslim world’s most respected centres of knowledge.
The journey then continues to Samarkand. Admire the majestic Registan Square, visit Shah-i-Zinda and pay tribute to the legacy of Imam Al-Bukhari.
This is more than a sightseeing holiday. It is a meaningful journey through Islamic scholarship, Silk Road civilisation and the enduring cultural heritage of Central Asia.
